Our story starts out as many stories these days do: boy swipes on girl, girl matches with boy, and eventually they meet for drinks. Although we met on Hinge, Ben and I have so many mutual friends that it’s hard to believe we didn't meet sooner. But we've learned that God's plan and timing are much greater than ours!

When I walked into the restaurant for Ben and my first date, I remember having no expectations but feeling confident. The first thing I noticed after walking in was the big, welcoming smile that Ben had on his face. We spent our time sitting at the bar, having a few drinks, and getting to know one another. We talked about family, friends, work, life, and faith. Specifically, when we discussed our faith, I remember feeling like I had finally met someone who understood the effect it had on my life because he shared that belief. Throughout our evening, he was such a great listener and asked such thoughtful questions, and to this day, he has never ceased to make me feel heard and known. Ben was easy to fall in love with, and I'm so thankful he took a chance on the girl he met on the internet. I may not have known what our future had in store on our first date, but I am so grateful for the blessing that is Ben Beal.

The first time I met Lexi was a moment I’ll never forget. I went into the date open-minded, curious to see how it would go. When Lexi walked in, I was genuinely taken aback by how pretty she was. She was definitely very cute on her Hinge profile, but in person, she had a beautiful glow that was so welcoming and sweet. As the evening went on, we dove into conversations about our goals, life experiences, and our faith. It was clear right away that Lexi was beautiful inside and out, extremely smart, and driven. I admired her passion for life and how deeply she loves the Lord. With every topic we explored, I felt a connection that was both refreshing and inspiring. I realized that Lexi is truly a remarkable person, with a heart of gold and a sharp mind. I could not be luckier to have her by my side, and I can’t wait to spend forever loving her. Lexi is the biggest blessing in my life, and I’m excited for all the adventures that lie ahead for us.

Since the day we met, we’ve been on fun dates, had amazing conversations, and shared sweet milestones. The love we have for one another is rooted in the love that Christ has for us. Thank you for being a part of our special day and for walking through life with us outside of this day as well. We’re so excited to celebrate our marriage with all our closest friends and family.
